December and January have been a time for me to prepare some new artwork for the coming season of (I hope!) art shows in Florida and Arizona. While Winter in Michigan is not the ideal time to create painted backgrounds and patinas, I have been able to scramble on warmer days to do the painting and spend colder days in my studio cutting, welding, and assembling.
Here are some of the pieces I’ve finished recently.
Although we are still in the midst of a public health concern, several shows look like they have made the proper precautions to be able to safely go on. I look forward to being in Florida at the end of this month. Check my schedule online to make sure nothing has changed, but for now here are my plans:
- Estero Fine Art Show, Fort Myers, January 30-31
- ArtFest Fort Myers, February 6-7
- Gulfport Fine Arts Festival, February 13-14
